Inside Sales Manager

We seek a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Manager to join our expanding, commercially focused sales team. In this key role, you will support the continued growth of our business, overseeing sales efforts for our high-quality manufactured products, including heads, cylinders, cones, and custom-formed parts.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor the inside sales team, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture.

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth.

Customer Relationships Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Sales Performance Monitoring:

  • Track and report on sales metrics
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to optimize sales performance.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, including production and logistics, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate with the external sales team to align efforts and maximize overall sales effectiveness.

Training and Development:

  • Provide training and resources to the inside sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge.
  • Organize regular sales meetings to share best practices and motivate the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience in steel sales
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales, preferably within the steel/metal or related manufacturing industries
  • At least 5 years of experience in distribution, metals, aerospace, or manufacturing
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
